On Wednesday, about a half hour outside of Riyadh, officials announced a detailed master plan to transform a roughly 120-square-mile patch of desert into one of the largest entertainment sports and culture complexes in the world. It’s called Qiddiya, and it’s part of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s Vision 2030. But eight months after the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, this multibillion dollar Saudi project begs other questions. Host Marco Werman speaks with The World’s Carol Hills about what she’s learned about Qiddiya.
