Saudi activist released after nearly 3 years in prison

Saudi activist Loujain al-Hathloul was released after spending three years in prison. This came after a campaign led by her family and human rights organizations advocating for her release. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Dr. Bessma Momani from the University of Waterloo in Canada about the impact Hathloul’s release has and how much Saudi Arabia has changed while she’s been imprisoned.
