Salmdan Rushdie attacker’s foreign links under investigation

Author Salman Rushdie was attacked last week as he gave a speech in upstate New York on the importance of freedom of speech. Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini previously called for his death in a 1989 edict.
