Salman Rushdie, Booker Prize nominee

The World

This year’s prestigious Booker Prize for literature will be awarded this evening in London. One writer on the shortlist is Salman Rushdie. His new novel, “Quichotte,” is Rushdie’s fifth Booker Prize nomination. The story is an American road trip, based on Don Quixote  with a heavy dose of reality TV. The BBC’s Vincent Dowd has more.
