Russian citizens in exile

The World

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, about 4.7 million Ukrainians have left the country. Many more have been internally displaced. But an estimated 300,000 people have also left Russia since the war began. Sergei Davidis is one of those people. He left Russia in early March. Davidis is the head of the independent political prisoner support group Memorial. He joins The World’s host Marco Werman from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
