Remembering poet Miguel Algarín  

Puerto Rican poet Miguel Algarín has died. Algarín, who moved to New York City with his family, was a Shakespeare scholar at Rutgers University for many years. From his apartment on the Lower East Side, he translated the rhythm of New York into stanzas and eventually co-founded the celebrated Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
