Protests and gun battles have broken out in Ethiopia’s Amhara region

Several days of protests in the Amhara region of Ethiopia turned violent after the federal government announced it would be dismantling the regional security forces across the country. Officials in Amhara have put a curfew in place. Host Marco Werman speaks with The World’s Africa correspondent Halima Gikandi in Nairobi.
