Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be in Washington, DC, Wednesday to meet with US President Donald Trump. His visit is controversial for many reasons. For one, it comes only weeks after his military incursion into northern Syria. But for some Americans, it’s even more controversial because of what happened last time Erdoğan was in town. His entourage attacked a group of protesters. The World’s Shirin Jaafari spoke with the protesters.
