Power plant declares ‘end of coal’

Europe’s most polluting power plant says it’ll stop burning coal next year. The Drax power station in Yorkshire, England, has been shifting away from coal for the past decade. Thursday, the company’s CEO Will Gardiner announced what he called the “end of coal” at Drax.
