Peru’s tourism sector struggles amid protests

People traveling to Peru on vacation have been canceling their trips because of the demonstrations and roadblocks throughout the country. Tourists at the iconic Machu Picchu archaeological site in Cusco were stranded recently as protesters sabotaged the region’s train tracks. Hundreds of tourists were evacuated on buses, and the goverment decided to shut down the site until further notice. Manuel Rueda reports from Cusco on how the city is coping without tourism.
