You might think it’s an unlikely location for a party, but every year there’s a big celebration at the US-Mexico border between Tijuana and San Diego, with music, dancing, eating and drinking on both sides of the wall. The man behind it is a Jorge Castillo, a retired librarian living in San Diego. Reporter Clayton Conn went to meet him for our partners at the BBC.
