Paris, the ‘City of Light,’ is turning into a ‘City of Trash’

Trash collectors in France have been on strike for over a week in protest of the government’s plan to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64. Garbage is piling up on Paris’ sidewalks in some of the wealthiest neighborhoods with no one to collect it. The World spoke to Gabby Pedriani, an American living in Paris, about what it’s like there right now.
