Paris Peace Accords, negotiated in secret, announced 50 years ago today

On this day in 1973, President Richard Nixon announced there was a peace deal with North Vietnam. The agreement was negotiated by Henry Kissinger and Le Duc Tho, setting the conditions for a complete withdrawal of American troops by the United States. The World’s host Marco Werman interviews Pierre Asselin, a history professor at San Diego State University, about the inner workings of the peace deal.
