Ottawa police clear streets of Canada’s trucker protests

The World

Police in Ottawa began clearing anti-vaccine protesters out of the Canadian capital this past weekend. By Sunday, nearly 200 people had been arrested and the government began freezing the bank accounts of those involved in the protests, which had swept across Canada and inspired similar protests elsewhere, including New Zealand and France. Emma Jacobs, an NPR reporter who has covered the protests from Ottawa, discusses the situation with host Marco Werman.
