Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister, portrays himself as the defender of Christianity, not only in Hungary, but across Europe. Less than 20% of Hungarians, however, are actually regular church-goers, and Orban himself wasn’t always such a big believer. So, why does pro-Christian rhetoric feature so prominently in Orban’s messaging? From Budapest, The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports.
