Oil spill devastates Israel’s Mediterranean coast 

Authorities in Israel ordered that the country’s Mediterranean beaches be shut down after a massive oil spill hit the coast. It’s the country’s worst maritime pollution disaster in decades. Thousands of volunteers have already taken part in the cleaning efforts, which authorities say could take years.
