North Korea’s spicy new TV drama

There’s hardly a place on earth that South Korean entertainment doesn’t reach. That includes North Korea, where watching soap operas produced in the South can bring five years of hard labor. So, North Korean TV producers are now stepping up their game. State broadcasters have unveiled a new crime thriller called, “The Prosecutor’s Office.” While most North Korean entertainment is said to be dull-as-rocks propaganda, The World’s Patrick Winn reports that this new show excites, with some spicy dialogue and R-rated murder scenes.
