Nobel lit winner Gurnah: ‘We’re all wounded’

But many of those individuals manage to retrieve something from that pain and trauma. Gurnah talks with The World’s Marco Werman about the ongoing trauma of colonialism and the themes of exile and belonging that are woven through his work.
