New report says climate change behind heat wave in India and Pakistan

India and Pakistan have been suffering from an intense heat wave in recent weeks. Temperatures have risen up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. A new report by the Grantham Institute at Imperial College London says that the heat wave can be directly attributed to climate change. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Mariam Zachariah, the lead researcher behind the report, about the attribution and the impacts of the heat wave.
