New COVID variant raises concerns, travel restrictions imposed

The new coronavirus variant, omicron, is spreading fast across South Africa, where it was discovered.  In the United Kingdom, officials have restricted travel from six African countries in response. The World’s Carol Hills spoke with Stephen Bustin, professor of molecular medicine at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK, about the new variant and what we know so far.
