Netflix’s French series ‘Lupin’ takes off

Netflix’s new “Lupin” series is taking off in France. The new show is inspired by the Arsene Lupin book series and brings together a diverse cast of French actors from various immigrant backgrounds, presenting French society in a different light. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Rim-Sarah Alouane, a French civil liberties lawyer in Toulouse, about what the new series means for France and how the film industry is changing there.
