‘Net zero’ plans threaten global good security, Oxfam says

In the world of climate change policy, the term “net zero” means pulling in as much carbon dioxide emissions as you put out. Countries and companies across the globe are making pledges to reach net zero. One common roadmap is by planting more trees and restoring forests. A new report from Oxfam warns that the sheer scale of these plans could threaten global food systems.
