NATO troop expansion

US President Joe Biden called the NATO summit in Madrid “history making.” On Wednesday, NATO formally invited Finland and Sweden to join the alliance. Biden also announced a plan for new US military deployments to Europe including creating a new permanent US military headquarters in Poland. Host Marco Werman speaks with Rachel Rizzo, a fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center where she focuses on European security, NATO, and the transatlantic relationship.
