Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire doesn’t hold

The World

Armenia and Azerbaijan are now in week three of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh — a highly contested region that the countries have fought over at least since 1988. Thomas de Waal is a senior fellow at Carnegie Europe specializing in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. He spoke with host Marco Werman about the history of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh and about the latest developments.
