Musicians board the “Africa express,” an initiative of the British band Blur

The World

A music recording project called Africa Express drew artists from all over the world to record in Johannesburg, South Africa. Including, Zolani Mahola from Cape Town of the band Freshlyground. The Africa Express project is the brainchild of Damon Albarn of the British band Blur. Previously, artists for the music project recorded in Bamako, the capital of Mali in West Africa. We hear music and some of the artists involved in this recent release.
