Musician San Cha turns to ranchera music when she most needs it

The World

Punk musician San Cha lives in San Francisco. She went to visit her aunt on a farm in Mexico when she was struggling through a difficult time. Her aunt convinced her to start singing rancheras. She resisted at first, but ended up finding deep connections with it. Meklit Hadero of the podcast Movement sat down with San Cha.
