Mozambique gets international support to combat insurgency

The violent insurgency in the northern Mozambiquan province of Cabo Delgado has killed thousands of people since it began in 2017. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced and the United Nations has warned it could cause a hunger emergency. While Mozambique’s government has struggled to stop the insurgency, this week, the tide might be turning. The World’s Halima Gikandi reports.
