Montreal’s third-oldest, but possibly best-known restaurant, Schwartz’s, celebrates its 90th anniversary on Tuesday. It has been the subject of a TV documentary and musical. Between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, a smoked meat sandwich, fries and a Coke will cost just $1.09 (Canadian). The deli’s history tells a larger history of Montreal’s immigration.
