Monkeypox outbreaks continue in US, Europe

Monkeypox cases continue to grow in several US states and some European countries. The United Kingdom’s first case was reportedly traced back to Nigeria, which has experienced outbreaks in previous years. The World’s Carol Hills spoke with Christian Happi, director of the African Center of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases, about how the world should respond to these outbreaks and what can be learned from Nigeria’s experience.
