Also, there was disappointment by LGBTQ activists in Kenya on Friday as the high court there decided to uphold the colonial-era laws that criminalize homosexuality. Judges said that it didn’t violate the new constitution. The World’s host Marco Werman speaks with Aida Holly-Nambi, a producer for the podcast, “AfroQueer,” in Nairobi, about her reaction.
