Mexico’s response to Trump’s surprise tariff threat

In a statement last night, President Donald Trump said that he would slap a 5% tariff on all Mexican goods to push the country to crack down on migrants crossing the US-Mexico border. This is set to begin on June 10. The president added that he would gradually increase the tax until the “problem is remedied.” Host Carol Hills speaks with Arturo Sarukhan, the former Mexican ambassador to the US, about his thoughts on this.
