In Mexico on Monday, journalist Margarito Martínez Esquivel was killed. He was shot dead outside his home in Tijuana at around midday. Authorities have launched an investigation, but it’s still unclear who was behind the killing. Esquivel was a photojournalist who covered the police, crime and security. Host Marco Werman speaks with Gabriela Martínez, a Tijuana-based journalist with El Universal. She was friends with Margarito Martínez Esquivel.
