But good old math may be the way to help us determine who will win. The University of Oxford in the UK has developed a model to determine the result of the World Cup. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Joshua Bull, a biologist who uses math to detect cancer, about how he came to develop the model, and who the model predicts will advance and ultimately win the tournament.
