In recent months, multiple major cyberoperations have been detected here in the US and attributed to foreign nation-states. There was the SolarWinds hack discovered back in December and attributed to Russian state actors, and now we’re learning more about the Microsoft Exchange hack, which experts attribute to China. According to recent reports, this hack has hit at least 30,000 victims in the United States alone. Host Marco Werman speaks with Dmitri Alperovitch, the co-founder of the cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike who now heads a think tank called Silverado Policy Accelerator.
