Nebert Nyirenda used to work in Malawi’s Ministry of Finance. In an atypical career move, he dropped that job to grow cannabis. Nyirenda is now the director and co-founder of Invegrow, the first company in Malawi allowed to research industrial hemp. The World’s Marco Werman speaks with Nyirenda about the economic benefits of legalizing cannabis in Malawi.
