But it’s been brought center stage in the United States after US President Donald Trump accused former Vice-President Joe Biden of trying to protect his son, who served on Burisma’s board — an accusation Biden denies. But what is it like to live next to the gas company’s drilling operations in Ukraine? The BBC’s Zhanna Bezpiatchuk reports.
