It’s an old standard performed by Eliades Ochoa, the famed Cuban guitarist from Santiago who made his mark with the Buena Vista Social Club. Ochoa has a new recording out, featuring this song: “Los Ejes de mi Carreta” (which translates to “the axles of my cart). It’s an ode to following the beat of your own drummer.
