Liberian green card program lacking applicants

About 10,000 Liberians living in the US qualify for green cards —  allowed by a 2019 law. But the deadline to apply is at the end of the year, and it’s estimated that only about a third of those who qualify have applied. Some immigration rights advocates say the numbers worry them, and want the process changed to make it easier for potential applicants. The World’s Daisy Contreras has the story.
