Left-leaning politicians, labor groups call for 4-day workweek in EU, New Zealand and US 

A group of left-leaning politicians and labor organizations have issued an open letter to leaders of the EU and New Zealand, as well as President-elect Joe Biden, calling on countries to adopt a 4-day workweek. They say switching to this model would help countries recover from the economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as have environmental and mental health benefits. Host Carol Hills speaks to Joe Ryle of the “4-Day Week Campaign UK,” one of the signatories.
