Korean ‘trot’ music: It’s not just for grandparents anymore

It got its name from the American foxtrot and goes back to the 1940s and 50s. But it’s also very much its own thing. This old style of Korean pop music and dance called “trot,” is seeing a comeback. Reporter Kelly Kasulis in Seoul spent some time with a few people who’ve gone all in for trot.
