Fans gathered outside the Staples Center, home to the Los Angeles Lakers, to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant, who played for the Lakers his entire 20-year career and died in a helicopter crash Sunday. But the vigils, tributes and celebration of Kobe’s life were not limited to Los Angeles or even the US. Around the world fans gathered, chanted his name, posted his highlights and tweeted praise for the NBA superstar.
