Killer robots in the sky

A new report by a UN panel of experts on Libya notes that a Turkish-made drone may have autonomously “hunted down and … engaged” retreating soldiers in a battle in Libya last year. Zachary Kallenborn, with the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, tells The World’s host Marco Werman this may mark the first known case of a drone picking its own target without a human operator.
