Kids and the coronavirus

The World

Doctors are starting to reassess how coronavirus might present in the young. In recent weeks, some reports from the US, UK and Italy observed that in very rare instances, the virus may be associated with an extreme overreaction of the immune system in children, and they may require intensive care. Host Marco Werman speaks with Dr. Lorenzo D’Antiga, a director of child health at the Papa Giovanni XXII hospital  in Bergamo, Italy and coauthor of a new observational study about this phenomenon.
