Key North American shipping channel closes during strike

In Canada, major labor strikes are relatively rare. But a standoff between lock workers and management has brought the St. Lawrence Seaway to a standstill. Shipping between the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Ocean has been halted. The World’s host Marco Werman talks with Larry Savage, a professor of Labor Studies at Brock University in Ontario, about what’s behind the strike and its impact on politics and the economy.
