The World

The name of the Afropop band A2VT stands for Africa to Vermont. They’re based in Burlington, Vermont, but the band’s founders were originally refugees from African nations. Jilib is from Somalia. MG Man is from Tanzania. Both men speak to The World’s Rupa Shenoy about their journey to Vermont and about their music.
