Lawyers staged a protest in Istanbul today after a Turkish appeals court upheld prison sentences for 14 staffers of a newspaper that’s routinely critical of the government. The Committee to Protect Journalists lists at least 68 journalists who are imprisoned in Turkey, more than any other country. Durrie Bouscaren reports for The World.
