Ivory Coast film ‘Night of the Kings’ shortlisted for Oscars 

A new film by the French Ivorian director Philippe Lacôte has been shortlisted for this year’s Oscars, in the best international feature category. “Night of the Kings” pays homage to the art of storytelling in the unlikely setting of La Maca, a notorious prison in the Ivory Coast. The World’s Halima Gikandi reports.
