Italy implements ‘COVID pass’ for workplace

Starting on Friday, Italian workers in both the public and private sector must present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in order to work. Through one of the strictest measures in Europe, the Italian government is hoping to incentivize more people to get vaccinated — and to restart the economy. But while a majority of Italians support the new rule, those against it are not keeping quiet. The World’s Lucía Benavides reports.
