A new political movement is taking hold on the streets of Italy. Called the ‘Sardines’ in reference to the thousands packing squares across the country, often holding images of the fish, it’s a protest against the far-right politician Matteo Salvini, who’s aiming to win a key regional election next month. And the Sardines have taken Italians by surprise by how quickly they’ve spread. From Milan, the BBC’s Mark Lowen reports.
