Israel labels Palestinian NGOs as ‘terror groups’

On Saturday, the Israeli government designated six Palestinian civil society groups as terrorist groups. They claim that they are controlled by the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine, a Marxist-Leninist group that has killed civilians as recently as 2014. The human rights community has responded with outrage, claiming that the groups are being targeted without justification. Carol Hills interviews Nour Odeh, who campaigns for Palestinian human rights.
